I’m Yanik Ethier.
I'm an actor, speaker, writer, creative consultant, and Creative High-Performance Coach.
At the start of my acting career, if someone had listed all the challenges I was to face along the way, I would’ve probably quit before ever stepping into an audition room. Naive enough, I thought I’d be booking lead roles right out of Theatre school.
I lacked the awareness and mental toughness a long-term career in the arts requires. Unconsciously, I kept focusing on the hardships of the creative path instead of the joy and sense of freedom I experienced through every creation. And by focusing on the negative, I kept receiving more of it. My world got darker and darker until finally, I saw some light.
It’s now impossible for me to deny just how crucial personal development and spiritual wisdom are to the creative process. That’s why I’m a fierce advocate of both.
An artist’s passion can be a double-edged sword. We go all-in with our creative endeavors often at the expense of other life areas like relationships, community, financial health, physical health, and even mental health.
As a coach, I can help you, the artist, gain higher levels of clarity, overcome your negative behaviors and beliefs, and implement science-backed systems and tools into your life to boost your creativity and performance.
