During my years as a #strugglingartist I made plenty of excuses for my lack of success. And although I rarely voiced them, I also held onto a lot of blame. As I revisited a monologue from one of the greatest "onscreen" fighters, I realized how far I had come in assuming ownership of my life and actions. I'm also quicker to let go what doesn't serve me. I'm still poor and struggling but in some fucked-up way, it's exactly what I asked for. And I know my luck is about to change. Where are you pointing YOUR fingers?
